Do EVs need oil changes?

Short answer

No. An EV has no engine oil to change. It still needs its tires rotated, its brake fluid checked and a cabin air filter changed now and then.

What an EV still needs

Tire rotation every 6,250–8,000 miles (Tesla 6,250 · Nissan 7,500 · Hyundai 8,000)
Cabin air filter every 1–2 years (Nissan every year · Tesla Model 3/Y and Hyundai every 2 years)
Brake fluid tested or replaced every 2–4 years. Brake pads wear slowly because regenerative braking does much of the stopping
On salted winter roads, Tesla recommends cleaning and lubricating the brakes every year or 12,500 miles
Wipers, tire pressure and the 12-volt battery checked at routine visits (Nissan, Hyundai)
Coolant: a first change at 120,000–125,000 miles on some models (Hyundai, Nissan). Tesla lists no scheduled fluid changes
